Dr. Randall L. Shaw
Dr. Shaw received his dental degree from the University of Michigan and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is one of the rare orthodontists in the country who has the training and experience to be thoroughly qualified in the use of lingual braces. These braces are placed on the backs of the teeth, so that they are completely invisible.
"I love being an orthodontist…but I realized something early on in my career: people don't want to wear braces for a long time. I made it my mission to learn new ways of speeding up treatment and making patients more comfortable. I'm proud to say I've done just that."
When not working, Dr. Shaw enjoys skiing, golfing and road racing. He and his wife, Hillary, have two daughters, Lindsey and Melanie.
Dr. James A. Ginzler
Dr. Ginzler has been one of the most progressive orthodontists in the area for over 32 years. He received his dental degree from the University of Detroit and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan. He regularly attends national meetings to stay abreast of the latest techniques.
"There are few things as gratifying as watching a patient gain self-confidence and self-esteem during their treatment and the pride they feel at the conclusion of treatment. I feel very fortunate to be able to make such a positive impact on their lives.”
Outside the office, Dr. Ginzler enjoys traveling, golfing and antiques. He and his wife, Susan, take pride in their greatest accomplishment - their two children, Brad and Lisa, who also happen to be practicing dentists!
