Invisalign has made changing your smile more esthetic. The aligners can be used to correct many dental problems like crowding and spacing. Instead of wearing braces with wires, you will wear a series of custom aligners (trays) that have incremental changes to help create the smile you have always wanted.
At your initial consultation, Drs. Shaw or Ginzler will evaluate if your orthodontic problem can be corrected with Invisalign. They will detail a treatment plan that determines how each of your aligners will change throughout your treatment, and approximately how long treatment should take. The process will begin with impressions of your upper and lower teeth; Invisalign will use these impressions to create models needed to create your custom aligning trays.
The aligners are removable, making it easier to eat, brush, and floss. The aligners gently move your teeth into position; you'll wear each set of aligners for 2-3 weeks. At the end of each period, you will move to the next set of custom aligners. You're in control of your treatment's success.
You will have regular visits in our office to gauge your progress and deliver more aligners.
